Yesterday, when I wrote something on Indian win in the Second Onedayer, in my jest I had written that 200+ partnerships are rare and that Kohli has been part of that on 3 occasions when India had that 200+ partnerships on 6 occasions. That is partially untrue as it represents only the 3rd wicket stand.
Here are 250+ partnerships and as could be seen India heads the table and has 5 among the top 12. Sourav Ganguly features on 3; Sachin Tendulkar also has 3 (2 amongst them)
There have been 12 occasions when there were 250+ partnerships. The highest is 331 between Sachin and Dravid at Hyderabad in Nov 99 against New Zealand ; Second is the 318 between Ganguly and Dravid at Taunton in WC 1999 against Sri Lanka .
