It was a month of sweltering heat, scorching
Sun, power outage and difficulty in the city of Chennai . IPL extravaganza is over and commoners were
subjected to cruelty in the form of steepest price hike ever in petrol prices. There were mad crowds, angry reactions and
more in petrol pumps as there were serpentine queues in front of petrol bunks. Vishwanathan Anand brought great cheers with
his win over Boris Gelfand in the rapid format, thereby retaining the World
Chess Championship title.

As you would know, SYMA is engaged throughout
the year in many projects which include – running of Medical Centre, running of
Tuition centre ‘SYMA Growth’, Educational Aid Programme, Various camps,
maintaining cleanliness and environ friendliness and more. For all this we require funds and we have been
patronized by many philanthropists and friends.
Generally, we collect funds in the months of
June & July ahead of our Educational Aid Programme, though donations are
welcome throughout the year. A detailed
appeal from SYMA finds a place on page 4 of our BLISS.
You have patronized us in a big way in the
past, and we look forward to receiving your donations this year too. Cheques are to be drawn in the name of ‘SRINIVAS
YOUNGMENS ASSOCIATION’ – payable at Chennai. In case any donor wishes to make a Bank
transfer, we will provide details of our Bank A/c on request. Contributions
to SYMA are eligible for deduction under Sec 80G (5) (vi)of Income Tax Act, as
applicable.
You have all along supported us in a big way
and we look forward to your continued support.
