This issue details our Educational Aid Programme which is held in July every year.  Every year, we distribute uniforms to more than 1000 school children.  In the function, we also distribute Financial assistance to select students.   We honour the Toppers of various schools in Triplicane, recognizing their accomplishment and encouraging them to do well in their career. 

In tune with our philosophy of recognizing others in the field of Social Service, we will be honouring Dr N Seetharaman, by conferring the SYMA Sewa Award 2012 on him.   The Function is scheduled to be held at N.K.T.Girls High School, Dr. Besant Road, Triplicane, Chennai-5, on 28th July 2012, Saturday at 6.30 p.m. 

Detailed Invitation is on page 4.  The Chief Guest for the function is Chennai Mayor Hon’ble Saidai Sa Duraisaamy, Dr Sarojini Varadappan, Dr N Ravichandran, CEO, Lucas TVS and Ward 116 Councillor MGR Vasan @ B Srinivasan.   Donations from large-hearted persons like you helps us in conducting functions like us and ensures our continued endeavour in service to the Society.   Request you all to attend the function without fail. 

Our present issue also details the running of SYMA Growth our tuition centre aimed at providing quality education free of cost to poor school children.  Besides these, this month’s Q is on the ‘only individual medal winner at Olympics from India’
