Dear (s)
Most of us studied in city schools, with parents providing us everything. When we went to school, we had new clothes to wear, good pair of shoes, books & notebooks, lots of writing materials (not as many as today's children get and lose in school). Thus life was comfortable still we complained of lack of opportunities, lack of facilities & host of other things.
See the photo below.

This is not a
marine transit of school children & not one occurring in a remote
hamlet. As you are aware the SSLC public
exams are on and this is a scene from a
village (near Thiruvalangadu in Thiruvallur Dist - less than 50 kms away
from the State Capital)
The Exam centre is more than 10 kms away and there is no regular bus service to this hamlet. To ensure that the children reach the centre without exhaustion, the teachers have arranged this tractor transport by pooling their money.

Now do you
a) appreciate the teaching staff for this gesture ?
b) appreciate the children for purusing their ambitions ?? OR
c) blame the system for the lack of infrastructure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
