It was a script, made, rehearsed and fine-tuned.. not the speech but
the final game and retirement of the Great Sachin Tendulkar.
It all started here at
Wankhede in 1988 with a century in debut in Ranji and the 24 years of
International Career with unmatchable excellence has ended today.
At Wankhede as India ended
on a winning note, it was a very balanced speech as the little Master thanked
each and every member of his family in great detail and spoke of all those who
had supported his career in every manner for so long. It makes us all happy to
read that Sachin has ended every game on a winning note.
34357 International runs;
201 wickets and 256 catches – he has excelled in every possible manner and to
think that Indian Cricket will have Sachin no more is sad..
Today, he walked back to
that 22 yard – bowed down, touched the pitch and paid reverence showing the
regard he has had for the game and the way he played it.
Hats Off
The Cricket World and
Millions of your fans will always miss you.
There lived the greatest
Legend of Cricket called Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar ………… sachin, sachin…. Sachin..
sachin…
With regards – S.
Sampathkumar.
