SYMA is wedded
to the cause of social service – Educational Assistance and Medical service
have been our preferred field for long. Our Sept 2014 issue detailed our Education Aid
Function.
On Gandhi
Jayanthi day, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched nationwide cleanliness campaign, the 'Swachh
Bharat Mission' or 'Clean India Campaign' from the Valmiki Basti in New Delhi. Addressing the nation at the launch, Modi
asked India's 1.25 billion people to join the 'Swachh Bharat Mission' and
promote it to everyone.
SYMA was born
with the ambition of clean environment (locally) and we have strived for
keeping the environment clean. In the
initial days, SYMA volunteers were regularly engaged in cleaning the area
including the temple tank. We are
planning to do this in a very meaningful way.
Cyclone Hudhud
has thrown out of gear the life at Vizag and parts of Orissa. Coming as it did after the flood in Kashmir,
there has been devastation at many places, which the Govt and many Agencies are
striving to restore normalcy.

lights [Deepavali] and some precautions to be taken to ensure enjoying a safe
