Interacting with people !! - தனி ஒருவன் !!

One night, a school-bus driver named Jang Kyung-chul encounters a pregnant woman named Jang Joo-yun and offers to fix her flat tire. After beating her unconscious, Kyung-chul dismembers Joo-yun at his home, and while doing so, Joo-yun's ring falls. Kyung-chul ignores it and scatters the body parts into a local stream. When a boy discovers one of Joo-yun's ears, the police arrive en masse to conduct a search, led by Section Chief Oh and Squad Chief Jang, Joo-yun's devastated father. The victim's fiancé, Kim Soo-hyun, an NIS officer is also present and vows to take revenge against the murderer. 

I loved watching this movie – the story of an IPS Officer Mithran, who is after  Siddharth Abhimanyu, an affluent scientist who uses secret illegal medical practices for profit.   

தனிமை - சிலருக்கு இனிக்கலாம்  !!  ஆனால் பலவந்தமாக திணிக்கப்படும் தனிமை ஊறு விளைவிக்கும்.  அந்தமான் சிறைகளில் ஆங்கிலேயர்கள் மக்களை தனிமைப்படுத்தி சித்ரவதை படுத்தினர். . பாரபட்சம் இன்றி, அனைவரையும் கதிகலங்க வைக்கும் ஒரு உணர்வு. தனிமை -  மக்கள் இவ்வளவு பைத்தியமாக  சமூக வலைத்தளங்களை நாடுவதே தனிமையில் இருந்து தப்பிக்கவே !!    முந்தைய தலைமுறையினர்  தொலைக்காட்சிகளுக்கு அதிக நேரம் செலவழித்தார்கள், இன்றைய தலைமுறையினர் போனை முறைத்து பார்த்து, சிரித்து, கனா உலகில் வாழ்கின்றனர்.  மோசமான அனுபவங்களும் தனிமை உணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தி விடக்கூடும். அனுபவங்கள் தந்த அச்சம், நினை வில் நிற்கும் துரோகங்கள், அவமானங்கள், நிறைவேறாத எதிர்பார்ப்புகள் அவர்களைத் தனிமையாக இருக்க வைக்கும். 

The oft repeated quote of Aristotle: -  ‘Man is a social animal’. He can’t survive in isolation. Human beings love to  interact with each other on a daily basis, having a deep impact on each other’s life. 

Interactions are welcome not intrusions !!  - We, as a society often forget the boundary line of someone’s private life due to several reasons. We may have been born in a different society having some deviating norms. Sometimes consciously, sometimes intriguingly, sometimes mischievously, sometimes out of curiosity, and some times  without even realising people cross boundaries to protect or control someone. The intrusion into private life with so many interested in knowing other’s has become an evil  embedded in the very root of society.  

Something totally unimaginable happened in our life time – life came to a standstill due to Covid 19.  During pandemic  stressful times, many underwent different types of stress – of health, of being alone, of not being able to do what they had been doing normally, office pressures, work related; financial troubles; family related and more. 

That storyline of Mithran was ‘Thani Oruvan’ action thriller film    directed by Mohan Raja, produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram starring Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swamy, ayanthara while Ganesh Venkataraman, released in 2015.  It was very impressive !!  

I Saw the Devil released in  2010 was  South Korean action thriller film directed by Kim Jee-woon and written by Park Hoon-jung. Starring Lee Byung-hun and Choi Min-sik, the film follows NIS agent Kim Soo-hyun (Lee), who embarks on a quest of revenge when his wife is brutally murdered by the psychopathic serial killer Jang Kyung-chul (Choi). By some accounts, Thani Oruvan was influenced by this film but was denied by its Director.
