Coppersmith Barbets ! - அடுத்தாத்து அம்புஜத்தை பாத்தேளா !

அடுத்தாத்து அம்புஜத்தை பாத்தேளா !  அவ ஆத்துக்காரர்  கொஞ்சுறத  கேட்டேளா?

The cute little bird seems to ask and the response was !!

அடுத்தாத்து சங்கதியெல்லாம் நமக்கேன்டி!  

அவன் சம்பளம் பாதி கிம்பளம் பாதி வாங்கறான்டி

 

You may have seen them on parks or on trees (fig trees!) nearer you – chirpy – their robust tuk-tuk-tuk sound could be heard from quite a distance too.  

The cute little bird -   green with a red head, yellow cheeks and a yellow throat. Its underparts are streaked in grey and black. During the nesting season, the wear and tear on the feathers can cause the plumage of the upper back to appear bluish. 

The coppersmith barbet (Psilopogon haemacephalus), also called crimson-breasted barbet and coppersmith, is an Asian barbet with crimson forehead and throat, known for its metronomic call that sounds similar to a coppersmith striking metal with a hammer.    Bucco haemacephalus was the scientific name proposed by Philipp Ludwig Statius Müller in 1776 for a barbet from the Philippines.    

பாடல் வரிகள் வாலி, இசை வி குமார்,  பாடியவர்கள் : TM  சௌந்தரராஜன், பி சுசீலா.  படம் :  எதிர்நீச்சல்-  கே  பாலசந்தர் இயக்கி 1968 ஆம் ஆண்டில் வெளிவந்த தமிழ் திரைப்படம். இதில் நாகேஷ், மேஜர் சுந்தர்ராஜன், ஜெயந்தி, சௌகார் ஜானகி, முத்துராமன், நடித்து இருந்தனர். 

ஐந்து குடும்பங்கள் வசிக்கும் ஒரு ஒட்டுக் குடித்தன குடியிருப்பில் அனாதையான மாது (நாகேஷ்) மாடிப்படிக்கு கீழ் குடியிருந்து கொண்டு அங்கு வசிக்கும் குடித்தனக்காரர்கள் ஏவும் வேலையைச் செய்து, அவர்கள் தரும் உணவால் ஓரளவு தன் பசியாறி வாழ்வதையும் தனது வறுமையிலும் கல்லூரில் படித்து முன்னேறுவதையும்,  வாழ்வில் ஒவ்வொருவரும்  ஏதோ ஒன்றின் மேல் பைத்தியம் எனும் கருத்தையும்  கொண்ட படம்.
