Yellow Parrot !! - பச்சைக்கிளி முத்துச்சரம்

Green – it is parrot Green !   Parrots are  a large group of gaudy, raucous birds of the family Psittacidae.  Parrots have been kept as cage birds since ancient times, and they have always been popular because they are amusing, intelligent, and often affectionate. Several are astonishingly imitative of many sounds, including human speech.  

MGR   இரட்டை வேடத்தில் - விஞ்ஞானியாக நடித்த சிறப்பாக ஓடிய திரைப்படம் 1973ல் வெளிவந்த - ' உலகம் சுற்றும் வாலிபன்'.    எம். ஜி. ஆர் தயாரித்து இயக்கிய இத்திரைப்படத்தில்   சந்திரகலா , மஞ்சுளா , லதா ஆகியோர் நடித்து  இருந்தனர்.  அதிக பொருட்செலவில் இத்திரைப்படம் எடுக்கப்பட்டது -  அப்போதைய ஆளும்  கட்சியின் எதிர்ப்பு, வரி உயர்வு காரணமாக  சுவரொட்டிகள் இல்லாமலேயே விளம்பரம் செய்யப்பட்டது. படம் வெற்றிகரமாக 200 நாட்களுக்கே மேல் ஓடியது.  அதில் ஒரு சூப்பர் ஹிட் பாடல் :  

பச்சைக்கிளி முத்துச்சரம் முல்லைக்கொடி யாரோ

பாவை என்னும் தேரில் வரும் தேவன் மகள் நீயோ  !

பொன்னின் நிறம் பிள்ளை மனம் வள்ளல் குணம் யாரோ

மன்னன் என்னும் தேரில் வரும் தேவன் மகன் நீயோ !! 

கிளிகள் பச்சை நிறத்தன -  வண்ண வண்ண கிளிகள் உண்டு ஆனால் கிளி பச்சை நிறமே !  - எங்கோ மஞ்சள் கிளிகளும் உள்ளன.   மஞ்சள் பறவைகள் பற்றி நினைக்கும் போது, கேனரி மனதில் தோன்றும் -  மஞ்சள் நிற இறகுகள் கொண்ட பல வகையான அழகான கிளி இனங்களும் உள்ளன. "பவேரியா கான்யூரின் ராணி" என்றும் அழைக்கப்படும், கண்கவர் கோல்டன் கூரியானது , அதன் இறகு இறகுகளின் மிகவும் குறிப்புகள் தவிர்த்து, பிரகாசமான மஞ்சள் இறகுகள் கொண்டது, இது ஒரு அழகான இருண்ட பச்சை நிறத்தில் வேறுபடுகிறது.

 

Green is the wild-type form of the Parrotlet. Males and Females are both a vibrant emerald green with blue spectacles (the line you see behind the eye). Males have a richly coloured cobalt rump and cobalt coloured primary and secondary flight feathers and under-coverts. Females have some hint of blue on their rump but lack the blue colour throughout the wing. 

Almost all Parrotlet colour mutations are based on only four colours: green (wild type), blue, grey, and turquoise. However, selective breeding has resulted in a massive variety of colour and pattern combinations. Green is most commonly found in the wild. In general, chicks will differ in colour from adult birds and develop their colours as they age. 

The yellow-fronted parrot (Poicephalus flavifrons) is a parrot endemic to the Ethiopian Highlands. It is a mostly green with a yellow head. German naturalist Eduard Rüppell first described the yellow-fronted parrot in 1845. Its species name is derived from the Latin words flavus "yellow", and frons "forehead". The yellow-fronted parrot is about 28 centimetres (11 in) long and is mostly green with the upper parts being a darker green, the tail being olive-brown, and the legs a dark grey-brown.

 

Today one of the winged visitors was different – it was a yellow parrot!
