Dentistry, is the branch of medicine that focuses on the teeth, gums, and mouth. It consists of
the study, diagnosis, prevention, management, and treatment of diseases,
disorders, and conditions of the mouth, most commonly focused on dentition. Dentistry
also encompasses other aspects of the
craniofacial complex ! Dentistry is one of the oldest medical
professions, dating back to 7000 B.C. with the Indus Valley Civilization. In
ancient Greece, Hippocrates and Aristotle wrote about dentistry, specifically
about treating decaying teeth, and way
back in 1530 the first book entirely devoted to
dentistry—The Little Medicinal Book for All Kinds of Diseases and Infirmities
of the Teeth—was published.

Ever seen
a duck close !! inside the beak of a bold duck or goose and do
they have tooth ?
Teeth are hard structures attached to the jaws of some groups of vertebrates (animals with backbones). Many vertebrate animals — humans included — use teeth to chew up food before swallowing. So, do ducks have teeth? No — in fact, no birds do! Hence the old saying “scarce as hen's teeth.”
Bird mouths are very different from those of other vertebrates. Over millennia, evolution has modified bird jaws into the specialized structures we know as beaks or bills, which all feathered creatures rely on instead of teeth for gathering and manipulating food. Beaks occur in many different forms, adapted for the specific diet of each bird species.
Ducks, in particular, don’t have razor-sharp teeth like a wolf, tiger, shark, or even a human. Instead, their duck bills are serrated, which looks like teeth to people
