பட்டு வண்ண ரோசாவாம் ~ Yellow Roses !

ரோஜா  கவிஞர்களின் பூ !  சந்திரனுக்கே சவால் விடும் அளவு காதலுடன் சம்பந்தம் உள்ளது.  பூ வாடிவிடும்  சந்திரன் பிறையாக தேயும் ஆனால் காதல் என்றும் பூத்து வளர் பிறையாகும் என ஒரு கவிஞன் (வேறு யார் ??) எழுதியுள்ளான்.   

They are beautiful .. .. though there could be hundreds of variants, most common is a ‘Red Rose’ –   – and then  there are Yellow Roses too!!

 "பட்டுவண்ண ரோசாவாம்" என்ற பாடல் சங்கர் கணேஷ் இசையில், மலேசியா வாசுதேவன் குரலில், பிரபலமான புலமைப்பித்தன் வரிகள்.

பாசம் என்னும் நீர் இறைச்சேன், ஆசையில நான் வளர்த்தேன்.

அள்ளி வச்ச வேளையிலே  .. .. .. முள் இருந்து பட்டதம்மா  !!   

படம்  1979ல் வெளி வந்த கன்னிப் பருவத்திலே   பி. ஏ. பாலகுரு இயக்கத்தில் வெளிவந்த   பாக்கியராஜ் படம். கிராமத்து ஜல்லிக்கட்டு நிகழ்வில் காளையை அடக்கச் சென்று காயப்பட்டதால் ஆண்மையை இழந்த கணவன் (ராஜேஷ்) மற்றும் அவனது மனைவி (வடிவுக்கரசி) பற்றிய படம்.

Rose is a perennial flowering plant. The flowers of the rose grow in many different colors, from the well-known red rose to yellow roses and sometimes white or purple roses, peach, orange.

"The Yellow Rose of Texas" is a traditional American song dating back to at least the 1850s. Members of the Western Writers of America chose it as one of the Top 100 Western songs of all time.   

The Yellow Rose is an American soap opera television series that was broadcast on NBC from October 2, 1983, until May 12, 1984. The series was produced by Paul Freeman and was at least partly inspired by the more coltish elements of the soap opera Dallas, and dealt with the intrigues of the Texas-based Champion family who owned a 200,000-acre cattle and oil ranch called "The Yellow Rose".
