காத்திருத்தல் இனிமையானது !  காத்திருத்தல் சுகமானது  !  நீங்கள் எப்போது, எங்கே, யாருக்காக காத்து இருக்க வேண்டி வந்தது என்பதையும் மனநிலையையும் பொறுத்தது !!  இந்த கிளியை படம் பிடிக்க பல மணி நேரம் நானும் பொறுமையாக ஆசையாக காத்து இருந்தது வீண் போகவில்லை. 

The story revolves around Mohan and Sohan,  sons of a police inspector. The kids excel in boxing. Their father is killed by a goon following orders from Ranjit. Upon seeing this Mohan kills the goon, takes refuge in Ranjit's car boot, and goes missing !!  - sound a similar revenge story !?!?. 

Johny Mera Naam directed by Vijay Anand, starring  director's brother, Dev Anand and Pran in the roles of brothers separated in childhood was released in 1970. Hema Malini was the heroine.  It was remade in Tamil as ‘Raja’ released in 1972,   directed by  C. V. Rajendran and starred - Sivaji Ganesan, Jayalalithaa and K. Balaji. Here is a song from the movie written by Kaviyarasu Kannadhasan, sung by TM Soundararajan and P Susheela to the music of MS Viswanathan. 

நீ வரவேண்டும் என்று எதிர்பார்த்தேன்;  வரும் வழி தோறும் உந்தன் முகம் பார்த்தேன்

காலம் கடந்தால் என்ன ராஜா ?;  காதல் கவிதை சொல்லு ராஜா...  

இலவு காத்த கிளி என ஒரு சொல்லாடல் உண்டு !!  இலவ மரம் என்னும் மால்வேசியேக் குடும்பத்தைச் சார்ந்த மரம்.  இதன்  காய்களில் இருந்து பெறப்படும் நார் பொருள் இலவம் பஞ்சு, பஞ்சைப் பட்டுப் பஞ்சு என்றும் அழைப்பர். இதற்குக் காரணம் பஞ்சில் உள்ள மினுமினுப்பும் அதன் கவர்ச்சிகரமானத் தோற்றமும் பட்டை போல் இருப்பது தான்.  இலவமரம் காய்க்கும், ஆனால் அதன் காய்கள் பழுக்காது நெற்றாகிவிடும். இலவங்காய்கள்  முற்றிய நிலையில் வெடித்து உள்ளிருக்கும் பஞ்சு காற்றில் பறக்கத் தொடங்கும். காய்கள் பழமாக மாறி பழுக்கும், உண்ணலாம் எனக் காத்திருந்த கிளி ஏமாந்துபோகும். இதனால் இலவு காத்த கிளி போல எனும் மரபுத் தொடர் உருவாயிற்று.  

சீர்மிகு மதுரை மாநகரத்தில் அருள்மிகு மீனாக்ஷி அம்மன் தன் திருக்கரங்களில் ஒரு கிளியை ஏந்தி இருப்பார்.  தென்னகத்தின் பல பாகங்களில் கிளி ஜோஸ்யம் பிரபலம்.  கூண்டுக்குள் இருந்து வெளிவரும் கிளி, ஒரு பொம்மை அட்டையை எடுத்துக்கொடுத்து விட்டு, நெல்லை பெற்றுக்கொண்டு, மறுபடியும் தானாகவே, கூண்டுக்குள் சென்று விடும். பல சமயங்களில் நாமும் இது போலவே வாழுகிறோம்.
